Frankstown Branch Juniata River Lower Section and Canoe Creek There are no developed access points for this section of the Frankstown Branch in the Altoona Destination Area. Frankstown Branch Juniata River Upper Section There are no developed access points for this section of the Frankstown Branch in the Altoona Destination Area. Little Juniata River Lower Section & Bald Eagle Creek Tyrone Section The Little Juniata is a large river in the Altoona Destination Area with deep pools, moderate water, and a number of access points for paddlers who come to navigate the riffles and rapids in the Lower section. Little Juniata River Upper Section The Little Juniata in the Altoona Destination Area is a marginal stream above Tyrone, supported by only a few water sources with an access point at Tyrone.
